Bitcoin formal specification

I didn't really know about Bitcoin Commons until starting this project about the importance of node software decentralization, but it may be the most important project since the birth of Bitcoin: a formal description of the Bitcoin protocol.

And I just see it is the formal BLVM consensus specification, but I think that is too limited. It should be the Bitcoin consensus specification, followed by all node software implementations.

Official?

Bitcoin's official site is on Bitcoin dot org, but I don't consider it neutral anymore, as it is (still) closely related to Bitcoin Core. Bitcoin Core is a continuation of the software as originally implemented by Satoshi Nakamoto, but the Bitcoin Core maintainers seem to not be neutral anymore related to the original mission and goals of Bitcoin.
